This is the trunk lid light out of a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. First the Good. It is a complete working unit with no cracks or breaks to the lens. The Lens are in great shape. I have spent a couple of hours buffing the lens. This removed the cloudiness and brought back that nice high gloss shine. You will still see a few lite scuffs but you will have to look for them. It comes with the wiring harness that has been checked. I replaced any bulbs that were not working. The crack that is in the middle of the housing can be epoxied with a small piece of plastic patch. Very hard to find these lights in this nice of condition. Now the bad. It is cracked in the middle under the key emblem. I have highlighted them in the picture. I have seen very few that are not cracked. It does not effect the stability or the mounting of the light. Once it is mounted you will not notice it as the center emblem covers it. The key emblem needs to be reworked or replaced. Some light scuffs to the chrome trim. Not perfect but for a light that is almost 20 years old it looks great. Not Concours but I would put it in a local show. There is 6 nice salvage yards that are self serve around me. So I have a choice when it comes to picking parts. I try pick the very best ones. If they are not good enough to put on my own car then I will let them go. I have plenty of others to choose from. So if you need a part other than what you are looking at now. Let me know. I usually can find one within a couple of days or let you know in that time that I can't. Most of the items I sell are from 10 to 40 years old and not new or new condition.
